Method’s third edition of Fresh Produce brings together 16 emerging artists whose practices reflect the range and vitality of contemporary art in India. On view from 21 August to 3 October 2026, the exhibition presents artists selected through an open call that received more than 400 portfolio submissions.
A Platform for Emerging Practices
Rather than being organised around a single curatorial theme, Fresh Produce embraces plurality. The exhibition brings together artists working across different disciplines, perspectives, materials, and methods, offering an expansive view of practices that are still taking shape.
The third edition focuses on practitioners who are at an important point in the development of their careers, artists whose approaches are beginning to establish a distinct identity while remaining open to experimentation and change.
The selection includes artists from across India, alongside Angel-Rose Oedit Doebé, who is based in the Netherlands. Their works offer an opportunity to look closely at the concerns, processes, and visual languages emerging within contemporary artistic practice today.
Selected Through an Open Call
The 16 artists were selected from more than 400 portfolios submitted through an open call. The selection process was led by a jury comprising Feroz Gujral, Founder and Director of The Gujral Foundation; Akanksha Rastogi, Associate Director, Visual Arts, Kiran Nadar Museum of Art; and Sahil Arora, Founder and Curator of Method.

Together, the artists represent a wide range of emerging voices and artistic positions. Their inclusion in the exhibition points towards the varied ways in which younger practitioners are responding to personal experience, social realities, material processes, popular culture, and the changing conditions of contemporary life.
Fresh Produce is on view from 21 August to 3 October 2026 at Method, D-59, Basement, Defence Colony, Delhi. The exhibition is open from 12 pm to 7 pm every day except Mondays.
