Bespoke Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, is currently hosting a solo exhibition titled “Haiku of a Still Mind: Continuum · Consciousness · Coherence” by eminent contemporary artist Satish Gupta. The exhibition, presented by Devin Gawarvala, founder of Bespoke Art Gallery, opened to the public on February 1 and will remain on view until March 10, 2026.
The exhibition brings together Gupta’s recent body of work that reflects themes of stillness, repetition, and mindful attention. Moving fluidly between abstraction and figuration, the works are executed across diverse media including paint, ink, copper, and gold. The show encourages visitors to experience art as contemplation—where seeing becomes a meditative act and presence transforms into awareness.
Known for integrating spirituality and Zen philosophy into his artistic practice, Gupta’s works span painting, sculpture, calligraphy, and installation. His practice, refined over several decades, considers art-making as a meditative process, where repetition and attention turn into rhythm and coherence.
Devin Gawarvala, who established Bespoke Art Gallery in Ahmedabad as a space for reflective artistic engagement, says the exhibition aligns with the gallery’s vision to create calm, immersive experiences that bridge global art discourse with local cultural sensibilities.
Gupta, a multidisciplinary artist with over 40 solo exhibitions in India and abroad, is best known for monumental sculptures such as Surya at Delhi’s T3 Airport and Vishnu at Antilia, Mumbai. His works are part of major collections including The National Gallery of Modern Art (New Delhi) and The Museum of Sacred Arts (Brussels).
Haiku of a Still Mind is on view daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Bespoke Art Gallery, located on Sindhu Bhavan–Ambli Road, Ahmedabad.
