India Art Fair has announced its 17th edition will take place from February 5-8, 2026, at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds in New Delhi, featuring a record 123 exhibitors.
The fair, presented in partnership with BMW India, will bring together 87 galleries, 24 art institutions, 12 design studios, and 2 design galleries. Preview days are scheduled for February 5-6.
International and Regional Participation
The exhibitor list includes prominent international galleries such as David Zwirner, Galleria Continua, neugerriemschneider, and Carpenters Workshop Gallery. Seven new international participants will debut at the fair, including Whitestone Gallery, Rajiv Menon Contemporary, 193 Gallery, and LAMB.
Major Indian galleries participating include Vadehra Art Gallery, Nature Morte, GALLERYSKE, and Chemould Prescott Road from Mumbai, along with Experimenter from Kolkata and Mumbai. Three new Indian galleries—Cultivate Art, Lakeeren Contemporary, and Subcontinent—will join the lineup.
Featured Sections
The Focus section will showcase solo presentations by artists including Bharti Kher, Jayasri Burman, Shailesh B.R., Ravinder Reddy, Thandiwe Muriu, and Khadim Ali.
The Design section returns for its third year with expanded participation, featuring studios Ashiesh Shah, Gunjan Gupta, and ROOSHADSHROFF, alongside first-time participants Kohelika Kohli Karkhana, Morii Design, and SHED.
A newly redesigned Institutions section will feature presentations from the Museum of Art & Photography, Sabyasachi Art Foundation, the Australian High Commission, Britto Arts Trust, and Serendipity Arts.
Special Projects
Outdoor installations will include site-specific works by Kulpreet Singh, commissioned by Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, and Judy Chicago’s participatory project “What If Women Ruled the World?”
The fair marks ten years of partnership with BMW India and five years of The Future is Born of Art Commission, which will explore the theme “Crafting in Continuum” for 2026.
The announcement follows the launch of IAF EDI+IONS Hyderabad on November 1-2, 2025, a new year-round initiative extending the fair’s programming beyond Delhi.
