Gallery Vayu to present ‘Summer Ceramics’ in Delhi from July 2

Gallery Vayu will present Summer Ceramics: Ceramic Practices Shaped by Nature, Memory and Material from 2 to 26 July 2026 at its Lodhi Road space in New Delhi, bringing together new ceramic works by Milan Singh, Ravi Kumar and Uday Singh. The group exhibition is presented in collaboration with Art Ichol and explores clay as a medium shaped by ecology, memory, instinct and transformation.

Exhibition details

The show will be open daily from 11 am to 7 pm at Gallery Vayu, 14, Main Market, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The presentation positions ceramics as a field where craftsmanship and unpredictability meet, with works inspired by animals, flowers, aquatic life and organic textures.

Artists on view

Milan Singh’s work draws on marine ecology and the fragile beauty of coral reefs, while Ravi Kumar is known for intricate ceramic forms and technical precision. Uday Singh’s practice reflects a journey from farming to contemporary ceramics, adding a strong rural memory to the exhibition’s thematic range.

Gallery Vayu is a curatorial initiative rooted in India’s cultural and material traditions, with a focus on craft, materiality, design and fine art. Art Ichol, the residency partner, is based in Maihar and supports ceramic, stone sculpture and printmaking practices through a rural-urban collaborative model
