The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) has announced the 77 galleries participating in the 2026 edition of The Photography Show, returning to New York’s Park Avenue Armory from April 22 to 26, 2026. A VIP opening is scheduled for April 22.
This year’s roster combines new and returning exhibitors, with participants such as Ruiz-Healy Art (New York and San Antonio) and INTHEGALLERY (Copenhagen and Mallorca) joining stalwarts including Danziger Gallery and Jackson Fine Art. Notably, more than one-third of the participating galleries are women-founded or women-led, marking a significant representation shift within the event’s lineup.
In conjunction with the announcement, AIPAD named celebrated photographer and scholar Deborah Willis as the recipient of the 2026 AIPAD Award. Willis, chair of the Photography Department at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, is recognized for her extensive research on photography’s relationship with identity, gender, and the representation of the Black body. The award will be presented during the VIP preview event in April.
The 2026 edition will also inaugurate Focal Point, a new sector dedicated to 13 solo artist presentations. Highlights include Taipei’s Be Fine Art Gallery presenting Hsu-Pin Lee, Los Angeles’s Duncan Miller Gallery showcasing Jacqueline Woods, Montreal’s ELLEPHANT featuring JJ Levine, and Santa Fe’s Obscura Gallery exhibiting works by Paul Caponigro and John Paul Caponigro.
Other notable participants across the main program include Howard Greenberg Gallery, Yancey Richardson Gallery, HackelBury Fine Art, Staley-Wise Gallery, Edwynn Houk Gallery, and Gitterman Gallery.
With a strong mix of international representation and curatorial diversity, the 2026 AIPAD Photography Show reaffirms its position as one of the foremost global platforms for fine art photography.
