The Delhi Art Weekend, currently underway across multiple venues in the capital, is approaching its conclusion on October 12, 2025. The 10-day arts festival, which began on October 3, has been presenting exhibitions, performances, panel discussions, and workshops throughout the city.
Organized by Svasa Life, a luxury lifestyle publication, and Usual Suspects, a contemporary art collective, the event operates under the theme “In Contrast,” exploring Delhi’s cultural diversity and artistic multiplicity.
Venues and Exhibitions
The festival is taking place across several established art spaces in Delhi. Travancore Palace serves as the primary venue, with additional programming at Bikaner House, Gallery SKE, Dhoomimal Gallery, Galerie Mirchandani + Steinrueck, Vadehra Art Gallery, Gallery Pristine Contemporary, Black Cube Gallery, Method – Delhi, and the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art.
The visual art component features works by emerging and contemporary artists including Avani Rai, Raihan R Vadra, Sajid Wajid Shaikh, Ashima Raizada, Gargi Chandola, and others.
Programming
The festival’s schedule has included several components:
Music performances by Dualist Inquiry, Adi & Dishaan, Dohnraj & the Peculiars, and other acts, along with a spoken word performance by Lekha Washington.
Panel discussions covering topics such as creative journalism, Indian fashion, music and culture, heritage preservation, and design. Participants have included Manisha Pande (Managing Editor, Newslaundry), filmmaker Vinay Shukla, fashion designers JJ Valaya and Karan Torani, Raw Mango founder Sanjay Garg, filmmaker Anubhav Sinha, and musician Ankur Tewari.
Workshops led by artists and specialists, including photography sessions with Mehek Malhotra, heritage walks by Sikkawala, perfume-making with Kastoor, zine creation with Anshika Varma and Offset Projects, and wine tasting at Café Dali.
Studio visits to designer workspaces at Kartik Research, Rkive City, Ekaya Banaras, VegNonVeg, and Outbreak Factory.
Retail spaces featuring brands such as Huemn, Margn, Jodi, and Two Extra Lives.
Partners and Background
The event is supported by Regalium as cultural custodian, with Clinikally, Veera Foundation, Cherrapunji Gin, KSC Venture Studio, and StoneX as partners.
The Delhi edition follows the Bangalore Art Weekend held in April 2025, which attracted over 4,500 RSVPs and 1,000 walk-ins across nine venues over three days.
