Summer Art Show 2025 and 50+ Indian Artists at Method, Delhi

Method Gallery in Delhi is hosting artists from all over the country for the whole month, to show and exhibit their works, all art enthusiasts are welcome

This summer, the capital’s art calendar gets a vibrant new highlight with the Summer Art Show 2025, a month-long exhibition at Method Gallery in Defence Colony, New Delhi. Featuring over 50 Indian artists, the show runs from 24 May to 22 June 2025 and is a collaborative curation by Srila Chatterjee of Baro Market and Sahil Arora of Method.

The exhibition brings together a diverse mix of contemporary Indian art and traditional folk art, creating an inclusive and accessible experience for art lovers, collectors, and first-time buyers alike.

A Celebration of Indian Art: From Folk to Contemporary

The Summer Art Show explores India’s rich artistic traditions through storytelling, experimentation, and material exploration. The exhibition includes:

  • Gond Art by Venkat Shyam
  • Mata ni Pachedi works by Sanjay Chitara & Sons
  • Book sculpture installations by Banoo Batliboi
  • Contemporary works by Ayesha Broacha, Vikalp Mishra, and Deepshika Khaitan

The Summer Art Show 2025 highlights a compelling roster of artists:

  • Anwar Chitrakar – Award-winning master of Bengal Pattachitra and Kalighat art, known for merging tradition with modern commentary.
  • Gitanjali Das – A rare female artist in Oriya Pattachitra, celebrated for her intricate palm leaf paintings using natural mineral pigments.
  • Hiral Bhagat – Ahmedabad-based calligrapher who explores Gujarati script as an art form.
  • Aman Kumar – Creates textured acrylics inspired by his grandmother’s textile craft, focusing on Indian domestic life.
  • Hardev Chauhan – Examines the ecological and social impact of agriculture in India through his paintings.

Collector’s Corner: Affordable Art for Every Budget

A major feature of the show is the Collector’s Corner, offering original Indian artworks priced between ₹3,000 and ₹3,00,000. Each piece is certified and curated to help emerging collectors discover affordable Indian art, while giving art investors access to works by renowned names.
