Art × Evidence Launches in Goa to Link Youth, Art and Employment

Antarang Foundation will launch Art × Evidence in Goa on March 27, 2026, from 5 PM to 8 PM at Sala de Gasper, Club Tennis de Gasper Dias.

The new platform brings together art and data to discuss how young people move from school to work. It aims to turn research on education and employability into creative dialogue.

About the Foundation

Founded by Priya Agrawal, Antarang Foundation has worked for more than a decade on improving youth employment outcomes in India. Its research shows that structured career guidance leads to better job stability among young people.

The Goa edition will feature 45 participants exploring themes of youth unemployment, financial independence and career confidence. Their works span poetry, theatre, dance, writing, visual arts and textile crafts.

Six Goan mentors — Saachi D’Souza, Saayshha Gadiyar, Rohit Bhosle, Keatan Jadhav, Gourish Poke and Uttara Anglo — will guide the young participants in transforming research insights into artistic expression.

“Theatre gives youth a rehearsal for life,” said Keatan Jadhav, one of the mentors. “It teaches empathy, presence and the power to listen and disagree respectfully.”

The event will also feature a moderated walkthrough linking the artworks to broader questions of aspiration and opportunity. Invitees include educators, policymakers and industry leaders.

“Our young people are not defined only by credentials,” said Priya Agrawal. “They carry lived intelligence and emerging capabilities that deserve recognition.”

Art × Evidence aims to connect young artists with mentors, employers and networks. The long-term goal is to replicate this model across states and shape how India supports education-to-work transitions.
