StoneX to Open ‘Mastery’ Immersive Film Festival in New Delhi

StoneX will present the New Delhi preview of Mastery, its cultural film series, through an immersive film festival at Sameksha Art Gallery on April 3 and 4, 2026, from 11 AM to 5 PM. The two-day event marks the opening of a multi-city programme leading up to the series’ release on OTT platforms.

Conceived as an immersive experience, the festival will bring together archival imagery, multi-screen film environments, and spatial storytelling. Audiences can expect curated screenings, immersive installations, and a format designed to foreground artistic process and practice.

The New Delhi preview will open with a private evening featuring a panel discussion between Hindustani vocalist Shubha Mudgal and Bharatanatyam and contemporary dancer Anita Ratnam. The session will be moderated by filmmaker Mriidu Khosla, founder of Zcyphher Films and director of the Mastery series. The conversation is expected to offer insight into the lives and working methods of two of the featured cultural practitioners.

Following its Delhi opening, Mastery Season 2 will travel through a multi-city preview programme across Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Ahmedabad.

StoneX describes Mastery as an original cultural film series that documents iconic figures whose lives have been shaped by decades of discipline, originality, and contribution to the arts. Rather than centring recognition alone, the project focuses on process, capturing the routines, spaces, and quieter moments that define a lifetime of work.

“At StoneX, we’ve always believed that true mastery reveals itself over time — through discipline, patience, and an enduring relationship with one’s craft,” said Sushant Pathak, Chief Marketing Officer of StoneX Global. He added that the series reflects the brand’s larger commitment to material, process, and legacy, while engaging with voices that have helped shape cultural memory.

The first season of Mastery featured a range of contemporary names across disciplines, including Rishab Sharma, Lekha Washington, Benitha Perciyal, Sandeep Narayan, Sarah Todd, Vibha Galhotra, and Princess Pea.

Directed by Mriidu Khosla, both seasons of the series are shaped by an observational approach that privileges intimacy and sustained engagement with each subject’s practice. Speaking about the project, Khosla said the intention was to move beyond documenting achievement and instead spend time with “the human behind the art,” tracing gestures, silences, routines, and the spaces in which artistic practice unfolds.

Season 22 brings together a distinguished line-up that includes Ruskin Bond, Usha Uthup, Shubha Mudgal, V. Selvaganesh, Krishen Khanna, Anita Ratnam, and Rima Das. The new season continues the series’ emphasis on discipline, repetition, doubt, and the passage of time as integral to creative life.

Shubha Mudgal said the initiative’s focus on process makes it especially meaningful. “To speak of mastery is to speak of process — of returning to one’s practice again and again, with attention and humility,” she said, adding that the project offers a rare and thoughtful way of engaging with artistic life.

Founded in 2003, StoneX Global works at the intersection of natural stone, craftsmanship, and design. With a refinery in Kishangarh, Rajasthan, and a presence in more than 2020 countries, the company has positioned itself as a brand that links material innovation with cultural collaboration across architecture, art, and design.
