Orange Tree’s Utsaah Collection: A Celebration of Handcrafted Artistry With Contemporary Designs

Orange Tree has introduced the ‘Utsaah Collection’, a new furniture range that celebrates Indian heritage crafts through a contemporary design language. The homegrown lifestyle brand positions this collection as a fusion of handcrafted artistry, sustainable materials, and modern silhouettes aimed at elevating everyday living.

The Utsaah Collection is conceived as a festive edit that blends culture, innovation, and hand craftsmanship across a wide spectrum of furniture typologies. It includes beds, sofas and seating, dining tables, coffee tables, side tables, mirrors, and sideboards designed to bring both functionality and visual refinement to interiors. The pieces are crafted using sustainably sourced woods, natural stone, hand-finished metal, glass, and soft fabrics, with an emphasis on tranquil earthy tones and sculptural forms.

According to the brand, the range seeks to create furniture that feels restorative and “attuned to the cosmos”, positioning the objects as more than utility pieces and aligning them with a mindful, design-forward lifestyle. Each design aims to stand out as a distinctive statement while remaining versatile enough for contemporary homes.

Within the collection, the Saanra Side tables feature a sculptural presence with dark teak, hand-chiselled texture on solid wood, intended to command attention whether nested or used individually. The Naqsh Side table is characterised by daintily carved rims and an eclectic cylindrical silhouette, proposed as a potential modern heirloom suited to reading nooks or larger gathering spaces.

The Tajni sideboard combines intricate, nature-inspired cut patterns with natural finishes, offering subtle vintage aesthetics designed to work in dining rooms, living rooms or foyers. Another highlight, the Nira Pouffe, has a hand-detailed textured wooden base and a plush fabric seat shaped like a flower; it is conceived as a focal piece that can function as an ottoman, extra seat, or accent element, adding a whimsical note to the interior.

With this launch, Orange Tree reiterates its focus on integrating artisanal skills with contemporary design sensibilities. The collection is positioned as a “fresh perspective on Indian craftsmanship,” where each piece foregrounds craft-based detailing while being tailored for modern spaces.

Gaurav Jain, Founder and Creative Director of Orange Tree, notes that the brand’s aim with Utsaah is “to elevate everyday living through designs that bridge the richness of artisanal crafts with refined contemporary designs,” emphasising that every piece in the collection is intended to carry “the soul, artistry and warmth of heritage reimagined for modern spaces.”
