Lifestyle brand Orange Tree has introduced its new furniture range, ‘The Empire Collection’, designed for contemporary living spaces. The collection takes inspiration from the game of chess, focusing on themes of balance, structure, and simplicity.
The range includes beds, sofas, lounge chairs, coffee tables, dining tables, and chairs. It features clean silhouettes, soft edges, and a muted colour palette, with materials such as natural wood and neutral fabrics. The designs aim to combine functionality with minimal aesthetics.
Key pieces in the collection include the Le Dame Sofa and Lounge Chair, designed with curved forms and soft upholstery, and the Damier Coffee Table, which features a patterned surface inspired by a chessboard. Other additions include the Fou Sofa in a light-toned finish and the Cavalier Two-Seater, which has a more structured design.
According to Gaurav Jain, Founder and Creative Director of Orange Tree, the collection reflects an approach to interiors that prioritises clarity, comfort, and long-term usability.
The Empire Collection is part of the brand’s ongoing focus on design-led and sustainable furniture.
