Mukesh Sharma (b. 1974, Rajasthan, India) is a New Delhi-based visual artist working across printmaking, painting, and large-scale sculptural installations. He holds an MFA in Printmaking from MS University, Baroda (1998) and a BFA in Painting from Rajasthan School of Art, Jaipur (1996).
Sharma’s practice explores the relationship between humans and their environment, drawing on the visual landscape of his native Rajasthan. Following his graduate studies, he worked at the graphics studio at Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur, developing a multidisciplinary approach that bridges print, painting, and installation.

His solo exhibitions include site-specific projects such as a collaboration with Amannath of Neemrana’s Tijra Fort-Palace on “Mukesh Mahal” (2017) and “A Terabyte-ing Serpentine” in New Delhi (2013). He has participated in numerous group exhibitions internationally, including the Venice Architecture Biennale, Tokyo International Mini-Print Triennial, and presentations at galleries in Australia, South Korea, Mexico, and France.

Sharma has undertaken residencies at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, and with printmaking studios in Sydney and Portland, Australia. His work has been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, The Times of India, Art India Magazine, and The Australian.
His works are held in collections including the National Gallery of Australia, Museum of Art & Photography Bengaluru, RMIT University Museum Melbourne, Swiss Re Zurich, and Qualcomm San Diego.
