TAC Festival 2025, presented by Pinterest and The Art Curry, on 1st and 2nd November is set to transform the capital into a living art laboratory where boundaries between artist and audience dissolve, and creativity takes center stage.
What is the TAC Festival?
TAC Festival is India’s most exciting contemporary art and culture event: a two-day celebration of experimentation, collaboration, and expression in all its forms. Born from humble beginnings as a one-day pop-up in a South Delhi courtyard, it has evolved into Delhi’s largest independent art and culture festival, yet remains fiercely true to its roots: process over polish, artists at the center, and art that’s accessible and wildly alive.
Who’s Behind It?
The festival is the brainchild of Shruti, Anubhav, and Siddhant, co-founders of The Art Curry. With experience across Publicis Media, White Media Marketing, and more, this trio brings together design, media, brand, and cultural experience. But more importantly, they’re creators who believe in building experiences that feel honest, handmade, and chaotic and ultimately personal.
What to Expect
TAC Festival 2025 is designed as a space where creators, collectives, and communities converge. Here’s what awaits:
Artist Showcase: Get up close with independent artists at the Zine Bike (a mobile zine station), Artist Flea Market, and the whimsical Human Art Vending Machine, where an artist sits inside and dispenses abstract art pieces through the window.
Illustrators Gallery: A curated exhibition featuring India’s most exciting illustrators and visual storytellers, bringing the country’s diverse creative voices under one roof.
Experimental Art Labs: explore the Paint Throw Zone and witness the mesmerizing Paint Pendulum, a gravity-driven installation where suspended paint buckets oscillate and create unique patterns on canvas below.
Print Labs: Roll up your sleeves and explore printmaking techniques including Linocut, Screen Printing, Cyanotype, Letterpress, and Lego Printing. Leave with your own handmade prints.
Community Zone / Barter Zone: An open collaborative space for networking, relaxing, and trading art supplies. Donate unused materials or exchange them with others and the remaining supplies go to an NGO supporting aspiring artists who lack access to resources.
Workshops: Learn through hands-on sessions covering Textile Workshops, Journaling, Hair Charm Making, Sticker Design, and Zine Making.
Panel Talks: Engage in conversations with artists, curators, and cultural practitioners discussing community building, artistic collaboration, and the evolution of India’s creative landscape.
Installations: Experience large-scale, immersive interactive builds that transform the venue into a living canvas where art moves, drips, and comes alive.
Performing Arts: As evening falls, the festival turns up the volume with live indie music. A dynamic lineup of independent artists takes the stage, giving a platform to musicians whose work deserves to be heard.
The Art Curry Philosophy
What sets TAC Festival apart is its unapologetic commitment to creative freedom. TAC Festival is the most unfiltered, expansive version of everything the founders believe in: process over polish, artists at the centre, and art that’s accessible, layered, and wildly alive.
