Design Mumbai is set to host its second edition this November, returning to Jio World Garden from 26 to 29 November 2025. The four-day event will bring together over 80 exhibitors, showcasing contemporary design across workspace, commercial, retail and residential sectors.
Positioned as India’s only international contemporary design show, this year’s edition features leading brands such as Natuzzi, String, Poltrona Frau, Blå Station, Infiniti and Venjara. Alongside global names, the fair will spotlight Indian studios and independent talent through installations, exhibitions and talks.
Among the highlights is a collaboration between Australian designer Adam Markowitz, the American Hardwood Export Council and Bengaluru-based manufacturer Phantom Hands, presenting sculptural furniture made from American cherry, maple and red oak. Spanish designer Lucas Muñoz will create a site-specific cafe in partnership with The Park Hotels, repurposing materials from the hotel group’s refurbishments. Soho House Mumbai will also stage a pop-up restaurant and bar reflecting its members’ club aesthetic.
Emerging voices in design will be presented in the Emerging Designers Pavilion, curated by interior stylist Jasmine Jhaveri, with contributions from Studio Abrash, Wannas Design Atelier, Studio Klay and Trnkts3D.
The event will also host the Design Mumbai Exchange, a conference developed with the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA), convening architects, designers and industry leaders to discuss pressing issues in design and architecture. Participating brands include Emanate Home, whose principal designer Monis Ahmed expressed enthusiasm for the continued growth of the fair following its 2024 debut.
Founded by Ian Rudge, Michael Dynan and Piyush Suri, Design Mumbai positions itself as a key platform for Indian brands aiming for global recognition and for international brands seeking entry into India’s expanding design market. Tickets and registration are available via the official website.
