StoneX Global will present the Mumbai preview of its cultural film series Mastery through an immersive film festival at Ice Factory Ballard Estate (IFBE) on 9 May 2026. Scheduled from 11 AM to 5 PM, the event marks the second showcase in a multi-city preview programme ahead of the series’ release on OTT platforms, following its debut in New Delhi.
Conceived as an immersive experience, the festival brings together archival imagery, multi-screen film environments, and spatial storytelling to explore artistic practice. The programme includes curated screenings, installations, and interactive formats designed to engage audiences with the processes behind creative work. The event will open with a private screening of select films from Mastery Season 2, featuring Grammy-winning percussionist V. Selvaganesh, filmmaker Rima Das, and dancer-choreographer Anita Ratnam.
The Mastery series, directed by Mriidu Khosla of Zcyphher Films, focuses on the inner lives and sustained practices of cultural figures across disciplines. Moving beyond conventional narratives of recognition, the films examine routine, discipline, doubt, and the passage of time as central to artistic evolution. Season 2 expands its roster to include figures such as Ruskin Bond, Usha Uthup, Shubha Mudgal, Krishen Khanna, and others, building on the foundation established by its first season.
Following the Mumbai showcase, the travelling preview programme will head to Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. With Mastery, StoneX Global continues to position itself at the intersection of material culture and artistic storytelling, extending its engagement with creative communities beyond design and architecture into film and long-form documentation.
