Celebrating Timeless Design and Heritage Craftsmanship
The highly anticipated TAKE Pop-Up returns for its third edition with The Vintage Edit: The Age of Beauty, curated by Beg Borrow Steal Studio in collaboration with Bhavna Kakar of LATITUDE 28. Running from 25 September to 5 October 2025 at LATITUDE 28 in Delhi’s artsy Lado Sarai district, the showcase brings connoisseurs a rare curation of vintage jewellery, antique textiles, ritual objects, and contemporary design collectibles.
This year’s edition foregrounds the idea of “beauty as endurance,” inviting audiences to revalue heritage by spotlighting objects that embody resilience, time, and memory.

Vintage Jewellery: Iconic Maison Creations
At the heart of The Age of Beauty lies an exquisite array of vintage designer jewellery from some of the world’s most celebrated fashion houses. Collectors can discover sparkling treasures by Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Givenchy, Lanvin, Oscar de la Renta, and Guy Laroche and more.
These pieces transcend ornamentation, offering wearable art that doubles as cultural heritage and long-term investment.

Rare Indian Textiles and Historic Objects
Expanding beyond jewellery, the showcase highlights Indian craft traditions that have shaped global aesthetics. Featured are:
- Machilipatnam Textiles: Hand block-printed fabrics using natural dyes, carrying generations of knowledge and craftsmanship.
- Chintz Fabrics: Once a prized Indian export to Persia and Europe, lush floral patterns narrate stories of cultural exchange.
- Etched Glass with Raja Ravi Varma Iconography: Rare objects echoing the 19th-century painter’s bridging of Indian visual culture with European realism.
- Idol of Lord Hanuman: Evoking devotion and artistic fineness, the piece resonates with spiritual and symbolic meaning.
Also on display are bronze, silver, and gold ritual plates with rich patinas, alongside expressive performance masks from Odisha, appreciated for both narrative context and sculptural artistry.

The Contemporary Design Dimension
Adding a fresh note for the festive season, the exhibition also integrates a selection of ceramics and design objects, envisioned as thoughtful luxury gifts. This segment connects the timeless with the modern, offering audiences curated options that merge everyday utility with aesthetic value.
The Curatorial Perspective: Slow Beauty
Curated by Pranav Sood and Krisna Krishnankutty of Beg Borrow Steal Studio, The Age of Beauty emphasizes seeing value in the timeworn. Rather than presenting nostalgia, the exhibition reframes “age” as elegance—encouraging visitors to cherish histories layered into objects and to approach collecting as a mindful, enduring practice.
According to the curators, these objects are “not perfect things, but lasting ones: bearing marks of age, care, and presence,” encouraging us to slow down, honour repair, and recognise resilience in the handmade.

Bhavna Kakar on Legacy and Collecting
Speaking about this year’s edition, Bhavna Kakar, Founder of TAKE on Art and TAKE Pop-Up, notes:
“With The Vintage Edit: The Age of Beauty, our aim is to celebrate timelessness and legacy. Each piece in the collection is not just a work of art, but also a vessel of memory and meaning. Through this platform, we hope to inspire collectors and audiences to engage more deeply with the stories objects carry, and to begin building legacies of their own.”
