Kalakriti Art Gallery will participate in IAF EDI+IONS, India Art Fair’s inaugural showcase in Hyderabad, taking place November 1-2, 2025 at RMZ The Loft.
The gallery is one of three Hyderabad-based galleries selected for the event, which marks India Art Fair’s expansion beyond its traditional Delhi venue. IAF EDI+IONS is a new initiative designed to strengthen regional art hubs across India, with Hyderabad chosen as the launch city.
Kalakriti will present works by four emerging artists: Dhruti Mahajan, Jignesh Panchal, Priyanka Aelay, and Sumanto Chowdhury. Mahajan creates paper relief works exploring themes of eternity and memory. Panchal examines urban spaces and contemporary life through reconstructed fragments. Aelay applies a minimalist approach to Indian miniature art, focusing on flora and fauna. Chowdhury draws from architectural forms to create landscapes bridging nature and built environments.
“It’s a fabulous initiative, expanding horizons and bringing the contemporary art world closer to our city,” said gallerist Rekha Lahoti. “As we celebrate our 23rd year, our constant endeavour has been to promote art and culture in Hyderabad.”
The showcase is presented by RMZ Foundation at RMZ The Loft in HITEC City. Kalakriti operates a 4,500 square foot gallery space in Banjara Hills and has been active in Hyderabad’s art scene since its founding in 2002.
Concurrent with IAF EDI+IONS, the gallery is hosting solo exhibitions by Bratin Khan and Anupama Alias Anil at its Banjara Hills location. Upcoming programming includes group exhibitions curated by Ina Puri and Anica Mann, as well as participation in India Art Fair Delhi in February 2026.
