Indian Excellence at Dubai Design Week 2025

Pramāna and Silpakara Design Studio are participating in Dubai Design Week 2025, showcasing their collaborative floor-standing lamp MĪNĀRA at the Double J Collective in the Dubai Design District (d3), UAE. Their booth features the MĪNĀRA lamp, which is a unique blend of craftsmanship and artistry, designed as both a sculptural object and functional lighting piece.

About MĪNĀRA Lamp

The MĪNĀRA lamp draws inspiration from architectural towers such as minarets, bell towers, and steeples, referencing their historical importance as iconic vertical elements in sacred, defensive, and urban architecture. Its design incorporates a durable marble base, rich teak veneer inserts, and intricate threadwork, creating a balanced fusion of material contrast and cultural symbolism. The lamp’s tall vertical form and detailed textural work pay homage to heritage and artisanal traditions, while its overall minimalist shape suits contemporary interiors.
