Architectural Designer

Chaukhat Design Studio is presented as a Vadodara-based design firm operating across India. A strong emphasis is placed on respecting each client’s story and budget, ensuring that every project is approached with equal attention and care, leading to complete client satisfaction and the realization of their envisioned spaces.

A design philosophy is followed where experimentation, exploration, simplicity, and elegance are established as core pillars, with functionality acting as the binding element. Diverse styles of interior design and architecture are explored in response to client briefs, maintaining a balance between aesthetics and functionality, where design is treated as an amalgamation of art and engineering.

The studio is led by Ar. Ruturaj A. Puranik, who graduated from SVIT, Vasad. A design approach centered on clean geometry and simplistic volumes is adopted to create soothing and refined spaces. Professional experience has been gained across Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai, working on residential, commercial, recreational, industrial, and institutional projects.

In addition to practice, contributions have been made to academia as a visiting faculty member, along with conducting workshops and webinars at institutions such as SVIT, MSU, and Parul University. A multidisciplinary perspective is brought into the practice, where insights from photography, graphic design, and art are integrated into architectural and interior design processes.
