Studio Saransh
Architectural & Design
Studio Saransh has relocated from Ahmedabad’s busy city center to a serene suburban setting, embracing a new way of working rooted in calm, nature, and thoughtful design. The move wasn’t just about space—it reflected a desire to step away from urban chaos and reimagine what a workspace could be.
Their new campus, aptly named Oasis, integrates architecture with landscape to foster creativity and connection. The studio’s design encourages movement and collaboration through open walkways, sunken courtyards, and carefully modulated levels that enhance scale and visual flow.
A winding entry path past stone walls and bougainvillea sets a reflective tone, leading visitors through layered courtyards, meeting rooms, and collaborative zones. The heart of the campus—a sunken courtyard framed by five buildings—promotes spontaneous interaction, while the surrounding blocks house private cabins, a double-height studio, and flexible mezzanine spaces.
Locally sourced basalt stone, steel-framed roofs, and carefully planted greenery help regulate temperature and blend the built environment into its surroundings. Rainwater harvesting, solar panels, and custom lighting underline the campus’s sustainable and human-focused ethos.
By grounding its design in vernacular principles and natural rhythms, Studio Saransh has created more than a workplace—Oasis is a living, breathing environment that balances tradition and modernity while prioritizing people and place.
