Architectural, Interior & Landscape Design
Habitat reimagines vacation living through a bold circular design. The layout places homes around a central courtyard, giving each one expansive views of the surrounding greenery. This radial arrangement fosters a strong connection with nature while balancing privacy and openness.
At the core, an amphitheater serves as both a gathering space and a circulation path. It invites residents to pause, interact, and engage with the landscape. The steps leading to the terrace garden double as seating, blending architecture seamlessly with the outdoors.
The building features a dual-skin façade. On the outside, graceful arches act as weather protection and create striking shadow patterns inside. On the inside, a transparent glass layer floods the spaces with natural light, enhancing flexibility and openness. The changing play of light and shadow adds life and movement to every room.
A semi-open swimming pool nestles within the circular plan. Cutouts in the roof let sunlight stream in, while sloped walls and subtle evening lighting create a peaceful, welcoming atmosphere. The pool becomes a space for both relaxation and connection.
Habiat0 celebrates local craftsmanship by using regionally sourced materials and engaging local artisans. This approach not only roots the project in its surroundings but also supports the local economy and promotes sustainability.
Every detail—from the arches’ shadows to the sky-framing cutouts—adds to the sensory richness of the space. Habiat0 doesn’t just offer vacation homes; it creates an experience where architecture, nature, and community come together in harmony.
