A Creative Guide to Artist Residencies in India and Beyond
Artist residencies are fast becoming vital spaces for growth, collaboration, and cultural exchange. Designed to bring together creatives from around the world, these programs offer more than just time and space to work. In a world where creativity often flourishes in solitude, residencies provide a much-needed shift, a retreat from the noise of daily life where like-minded individuals come together to exchange ideas, share meals, and form lasting bonds across cultures. These temporary homes offer a chance to deeply immerse oneself in the artistic process and grow, not just as an artist, but as an individual, while also offering a platform to showcase one’s work. It’s an experience every artist should encounter at some point in their journey.
