SEEN UNSEEN by Zainab Tambawala: An Art show celebrating Mumbai
As our city hums with the festive spirit, those venturing out for Christmas hopping or leisurely heritage walks have another cultural stop to make — 47A Design Gallery in Khotachiwadi, where Mumbai-based artist and illustrator Zainab Tambawala unveils her latest show, SEEN UNSEEN. A graduate in both Applied Arts and Animation Film Design, Zainab brings fluidity and narrative depth to her watercolor series that captures Mumbai in its most unnoticed yet powerful moments. Her love for sketching and painting outdoors translates into a vivid documentation of the city’s everyday rhythm — from laborers at work and handcarts in motion to quiet pauses at bus stops. Each piece is a standalone meditation on movement and change, yet together they form a lyrical portrait of a city that never ceases to surprise. SEEN UNSEEN is open to all until January 4th.
